What is your opinion on the Harley Davidson V-Rod?
looking to buy one. would like to know if it’s worth it. Or maybe i should go for the Honda Fury

i do know the v-rod has a porsche engine. it’s the first engine ever made by porsche that was put in a bike. but the fury definitely has really great looks. i guess both bikes will turn heads. i’m just a honda fan to the grave and would hate to conform to harley’s. might have to though from these answers, seems like the v-rod might be the way to go.
I’ve ridden one and they’re fast for a V twin. No competition for a 4 cylinder sport bike of course, but able to blow the other HD and HD type Japanese bikes away. The frame is super rigid and it corners like it’s on rails. The engine has a totally different mechanical sound that does the other HDs, it sounds more mechanical and “taut”. much like the way the first BMW flat triples sounded.
Personally, I don’t like the WAY forward foot pegs and they are certainly too forward for my liking. The other V Rod (can’t think of the name right now, Night Rod?) styled HD has pegs that set back farther and would probably fit me better.
