Motorcycle Beginner Course

Is a Honda DN-01 a good first motorcycle for a beginner?
i’m 15 and (hopefully) will have my motorcycle license by around november 2009 (my birthdays in february and i have to get my normal license first). But while i wait for my normal license i’m going to take
msf (motorcycle safety foundation) courses
any advice or tips for a newbie???
anything i need to know before i get my motorcycle?
is it hard to learn how to ride at first?
I would advise against the DN-01. Not because it is to big an engine or too powerful, it is in the 650-700 range and is tuned down.
I would recommend against it because as a new rider you will probably drop your ride at least once. Do you want to drop 15,000 dollars. I would recommend looking at a used bike or scooter (that is what the DN-01 is). It will be easier on you financially if/when you drop it.
Good for you taking the MSF course, good luck.
