Motorcycle Touring Seats
What are the different types or classes of motorcycles… Cruisers, Sports Bikes, Choppers, etc.?
I was curious what the different types of classes of bikes there are both today and historically. Today obviously sport bike, chopper, cruiser, touring, what else?
Also, in the past it seems there werent as many choices were there? Would Cafe Cruiser be like an old sport bike? What would say a 70’s Honda CB750 be? What do you call those bikes from the 70’s where it’s like a 2 person seat but the seat is straight across, no lift like on todays passenger seats?
The CB750, and all the Jap bikes with the “flat” seats are called ‘Standards”.
