Mom, Dad, boyfriend and weddings…?
I am having a 13 person wedding. Only direct family, being parents, siblings and others. Only thing is less then a year ago my parents got divorced. My mother has chosen to date another man while my father is still madly in love with my mom. She flaunts it in his face, and now is taking up all the hobbies she refused him while they were together, such as motorcycling.
Here is the issue. My father will be attending my wedding alone while my mom insists on bringing her boyfriend. Dont get me wrong he is a nice enough guy, I just dont want some drama tension at my wedding. Especially with such a small wedding he will have no one else to talk with. And my mother of course will be very immature the whole time. I just dont know how to approach this. HELP!
Tell them no one can bring a guest to your wedding that’s the rule no exceptions.
