Great Motorcycle Rides California
Moving to L.A need some advice.?
I am moving to Santa Moinca, CA on August 10th to attend Santa Monica College because they have a great transfer program to get into Univeristy of Southern California. I currently have a job here in Houston, TX which I am quiting. My parents are going to pay for my room and food. I am going to take loans out for school. I have a 6month old new full size truck woth 23,000 on the KBB. I still owe 18,000 on it. My apartment here is fully furnished and I have a huge 62′ TV worth 1,500$.
Now my question is this. What is the best way to go about getting to CA with my furniture plus selling my truck. Then either buy a motor cycle when I get to CA or buy a motorcycle here then rent a UHAL to tow the motorcycle and my furniture. Or I could keep my truck rent a trailer and tow everything up there, then sell my truck when I get to CA, and then buy a new ride after I sell my truck. Or I could buy an older $5,000 dollar SUV here in houston to tow my stuff to CA, but it needs to be reliable.
Rent a UHAL, that’s what my cousin did when he moved to CA all the way from MI. He even towed his jeep to the back of the UHAL, but depend on what size of UHAL you get you may or may not have to do that.
