Hey all, I got my motorcycle license in november 2009 and it’s january almost febuary 2010 now so about 3 to 4 months. I think I’m ready to move on to a bigger bike.

The current bike I have is a 2002 Ninja EX500. My question is should I give it more time before I move up? My friend is selling me his Honda CBR600 F4I cheap since he got a R6 and my brother wants to buy my Ninja but I’m not sure if this is the correct way to move up.

I sat on the F4I and I have to say, it’s quite big. I lowered the Ninja 1.5 Inches so it’s around 29 inches. The stock F4I seat is around 31 Inches, my friend just keeps telling me to post up on one leg, but the difference not only in height but body size is huge to me. The tank is bigger as well.

I’ve looked at the 650R but the price for it is crazy compared to the price my friend is selling me his F4I for ($3,000 8k miles)

So should I move up or should I give it a couple more months?
