Yamaha Motorcycle Tires Bridgestone
Motorcycle tire, 190 50 17 for my Yamaha R1. Best and longest lasting tire for commuting?
I have a 2005 R1. The size of the rear tire is 190 50 17. Ive had Dunlops, that came stock. Then i switched to Pilot Powers with Micheline witch is a soft tire, right? Therefore wearing down faster then a normal tire? I use my bike to commute and the occasional run with the boys, so i want a tire that is gonna last me long. I called a dealer and i was told the Bridgestone BT021 is a longer lasting tire with harder rubber? I need advise. I would like to pay less then i did for the pilot power which was $165 just for the rear unenstalled.
Avon Storms, Metzler Z6, Continental Road Attacks – those are my favs. They have the best stick and the best wear … 5k – 8k on depending how hard you are on them. Some people swear by Michelin, BS and Dunlop, I have not had good results with them.
